Procrastination is opportunity’s assassin - Victor Kiam
It's time to get to the root causes of why you procrastinate. In just a few hours you'll learn why you procrastinate and you'll be able to change those underlying causes and approach work and life with alacrity. This workshop is experiential in its approach, so there's no opportunity to procrastinate the execution of the skills you acquire!
At the end of this workshop, attendees can expect to procrastinate less often. If they do find themselves procrastinating, they will have a greater awareness of what is driving them to do so and be able to implement strategies to change it. This workshop will cover the following areas:
- a brief explanation of why we procrastinate;
- procrastination of large projects and procrastination as a lifestyle;
- a clear understanding of the impacts of procrastination;
- a framework for breaking the cycle of procrastination;
- strategies to use if procrastination recurs;
- ensuring that our thoughts and emotions are in order to allow us to be in control of our choices.
Note: The above list of topics is just a guide, lessons may not always be in the order shown. Each course tends to take a life of its own depending on the needs of the attendees, which allows the instructor the opportunity to tailor course content to the needs of the group if and when appropriate.
As with all of Steph's courses, this workshop is very interactive. Students will have the opportunity to apply the framework immediately to the specific needs of each attendee.
