High performers or high achievers?

I note that several of my clients, when thinking about succession planning, are starting to categories staff as high performers or high potentials. This is good news, because you probably need different strategies for each group. John Sands from SA Power Networks is doing some leading work in this area, with creative ways to assess where staff are up to and what they might need to provide to stretch and develop them.
